We made a trip two weeks ago to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to visit and encourage our Next Generation students. Everyone was doing well and it was wonderful to see them again. A couple of them were not able to attend because of school classes or working.
We even met up with David Pierre Charles, our Agricultural student. He attends UNOGA in Jeremie and after completing his garden project will receive his final license and degree.
As we talk with them, we are so blessed by them and their eagerness to learn and grow in their field of study. We know that they will also be Kingdom Builders and make Jesus famous in any career they choose.
The main focus of the meeting was to encourage them, make adjustments to their individual fields of study, and as with one student, guide them into technical training, as opposed to the university path.
After a night of visiting and praying, we said our goodbyes through tears. We are so proud of each of these young people, who struggle in a country without many opportunities and poverty is a way of life.
Without our sponsors and ministry partners, we could not offer much hope of a better future, to these students. We count on you to support Next Generation, financially and spiritually. Thank you from them.
